A medicated, 18% protein molasses type grain ration that can be used to start calves on feed for growth promotion and feed efficiency.  This product can be used either as a complete feed or as a creep ration. Feeding Instructions Feed at the rate of .1 mg per pound of body weight per day in calves weighing up to 250 pounds.  Each pound of FRM Calf Starter Medicated contains 5 mg of Chlortetracycline.  Hand-feed the first few feedings, then feed only the amount of Calf Starter the calf will clean up daily.  Feed as the only dry feed other than good quality hay.  Place feed trough in well-lighted area in pen and feed FRM Calf Starter until calf is 14 weeks old.  Gradually change to FRM Calf Grower or FRM Creep & Fitting Feed.
