- For best results, feed for at least 28 days during periods of coccodiosis exposure or when experience indicates that coccidiosis is likely to be a hazard.
- Each pound contains 22.7 mg Decoquinate. Feed at a rate to provide 22.7 mg per 100 pounds of body weight per day in the total ration.
- For preventing the development of house, stable, face, and horn flies in the manure of treated calves.
- This product contains 6.8 mg of diflubenzuron per pound. Feed Clarifly® at the rate of 0.10 mg/kg of body weight to prevent the development of house flies, stable flies, face flies, and horn flies in the manure of treated beef and dairy calves. Start feeding ClariFly® early in the spring, 30 days before flies begin to appear, and continue feeding throughout the summer and into the fall until cold weather restricts fly activity. In some cases, supplemental fly control measures may be needed in and around barns and hutches to control adult house and stable flies which can breed in other decaying, organic matter or silage in the area, or that migrate in from other locations.
| MIXING |
| Measure 2 quarts of clean, warm water (110° F) into a clean bucket. Sprinkle 8 ounces of FRM Super Milk Replacer Medicated onto the water surface and mix thoroughly. |
| FEEDING |
| Beginning on the 4th day, introduce FRM Super Milk Replacer Medicated. |
| Light Breed Calves | 1.5 TO 2 quarts liquid FRM Super Milk Replacer Medicated twice daily. |
| Heavy Breed Calves | 2 to 2.5 quarts liquid FRM Super Milk Replacer Medicated twice daily. |
| If once a day feeding is preferred, start when calves are at least 5 days of age and in good health. Gradually increase strength of FRM Super Milk Replacer Medicated solution to 12 ounces (1.5 cups) per 2 quarts and gradually increase amount fed up to 3 quarts per feeding. Calves must always have free choice water available. |
| MANAGEMENT TIPS |
| For best mixing, sprinkle F-R-M Super Milk Replacer Medicated powder onto water. Use a wire whisk to agitate powder and water. Fresh, clean water should be available at all times. Feeding and mixing equipment should be cleaned after each feeding. Introduce F-R-M Calf Starter at 7 days of age. Offer free choice hay after weaning. Wean calves when eating at least 1.5 - 2 lbs. F-R-M Calf Starter per head per day. One measuring cup (enclosed in the bag) holds approximately 8 ounces of dry F-R-M Super Milk Replacer Medicated. Check cup quantity periodically. |
