Remarkable! The only to describe this FRM product that has been fed for over 40 years now, by hundreds of cattlemen in the Tri-State Area, to thousands of cattle, many with a history of grass tetany in their herds.
The practice of supplemental feeding of beef and dairy cattle while grazing on oats, rye, wheat, millet, fescue, winter or early spring grass, with FRM Wintergrazer Cattle Mineral to supply the animal with supplemental magnesium, offers cattlemen an opportunity to 1) Help prevent low blood magnesium levels (considered to be one of the main problems causing grass tetany). and 2) To provide the other vital minerals, trace minerals, salt, and vitamins that most efficiently supplement the nutrition cattle get from temporary winter and summer pastures!
TESTED PERFORMANCE
In the Fall and Winter of 1963-1964, we fed more than one thousand (1000) head of cattle where grass tetany had been diagnosed in each herd treated. There was not a single case of grass tetany occuring once the herd was fed the supplemental product from which later evolved the product FRM Wintergrazer Cattle Mineral. This work was done in cooperation with several veterinarians and cattlemen in Southwest Georgia and the Coastal Plains Experiment Station, Tifton, Georgia. The best proof of its valueis that herd after herd with a grass tetany history have been fed this product with great results.
