IMPORTANT CONSUMPTION INFORMATION: The FRM Goat Tub has been designed to feed with fair to good quality forages. It is fed free choice; therefore, consumption will vary depending on the quality and/or quantity of forage available to the animals, the condition of the goats, previous feeding programs, type of mineral program being used and their feeding location. Goats may need to adapt to the FRM Goat Tub before the correct consumption is reached. If consumption is low, examine forage quality and the tub feeding locations. If consumption is higher than desired, the quality and/or quantity of forage may need to be increased. If forage is adequate, you may want to consider placing tub further away from loafing or watering areas and at the same time, reducing the number of tubs available to goats.
FEEDING DIRECTIONS: FRM Goat Tub is formulated to be fed free choice to all classes of goats while grazing pastures with adequate fair to good quality grass and/or receiving good quality hay. Consumption should range from 0.25 to 0.50 lb. per head daily. If consistently high consumpion is experienced, the feeding program should be examined (See IMPORTANT CONSUMPTION INFORMATION above).
FRM Goat Tubs contain a complete mineral and vitamin package, no additional minerals, vitamins, or salt are needed or recommended.
Provide one 50-pound tub for every 5-10 head of goats. Feed near a water source or near areas where animals loaf. Provide an unlimited supply of clean, fresh water.
If goats run out of FRM Goat Tubs, observe them closely for three days after restocking in order to prevent over-consumption.
For additional information, please contact your FRM representative.
Feed free choice in a covered mineral box to beef or dairy cattle, hogs, or horses. Do not feed any additional salt. When mixing complete feeds, use the following amounts per ton. No additional salt needed.
